Hey fellow riders! I just watched this video about Big Ear custom motorcycle earbuds/hearing protection and I want to know if any of you here tried their products. I'd love to get myself a pair but I want to know if they're great first. Any other recommendation? Thanks!

Have not seen the brand over here in Australia, I have tried a few types of ear plugs but keep going back to one brand of disposables.

I have been using custom made units by a Brisbane based and Franchised locally company called "Earmould Australia"

I purposely get them make "Thin" on the outside so that there is no interference with the helmet burning pressure points, I find they are excellent as I can still here the Ncom ringing and anyone shouting at me and any other peculiar noise that the bike may make going along. they don't come cheap but they do last for every.

I like wise get them made out of "Dayglow Mixed Colours" so that when you drop one and they bounce about 20mtrs away it sometime make them easier to find.

If you just want wind noise abatement, go to Walmart (in the hunting section) and for a couple $, get some of the silicone earplugs. They work well and should fit a pretty wide range of ears.

The ride may be fun, but in the Great Scheme of things, it really is about the destination! John 3:16

I've worked on wood moulders and high speed shapers for 30 years and that seems to do the trick, I can't hear a thing

Ive been using custom made ear plugs for the last 7 years, after noticing hearing deterioration. The custom ear plugs won't get your hearing back, but they will reduce future loss. Wont ride without them now.

I won't believe it until it has been officially denied.

I wasn't convinced that I would be able to hear Bluetooth music with those so I have not tried them. Rocket had some moulded at a recent superbike meeting and then got an ear infection I just use disposables.

I have the Earmold in bright orange so I can see them when I drop them. This way they help my hearing and my sight. I have them with the speakers so I can listen to either my I pod or plug in to my phone and find them excellent. Again, not cheap but I guess my hearing is worth the investment.
